Who We Are
Appin Historical Society meets on the third Saturday each month from September to March, usually in Port Appin Hall, with occasional field trips. Some meetings and field trips are restricted to members.
Our magazine, Appin Archive, published once or twice a year, is supplied free of charge to members, either as a printed copy or by email, and is also available for sale to non-members.
Membership is open to all at a cost of £20 for individuals and £30 for two people at the same address. This entitles attendance at all meetings and field trips, usually without further charge, and a copy of each Appin Archive in the year of membership. The year starts on 1 September, when membership fees are due. We welcome members from all over the world.
As we do not employ a genealogist, we regret that we cannot undertake genealogical research on behalf of people wishing to trace their ancestors.
